Darlene Currie, B.M.R. (O.T.)
Darlene graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1985 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy). She became a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator in 2002 through the Matheson Training System and has over 15 years experience conducting FCE’s. She has worked for Spectrum Rehabilitation Services since 1995 and aside from conducting FCE’s, she provides a variety of community based services for adults in the Kamloops and surrounding regions including COFC, job site evaluation/ergonomic assessment, rehabilitation case management with orthopedic and mental health clientele, home assessment for equipment and modifications, power mobility assessment, return to work programs, Activation programs including education on pain and stress management, energy conservation and back care. When she is not working she enjoys travelling, camping, canoeing and hiking. She volunteers for many sporting events held in the Tournament Capital of Canada – Kamloops.
